What We Do

Aubusson
Aubusson is a town on the Creuse River in central France. It has been famed for its carpets as well as Tapestries since the 15th century. Antique Aubusson rugs made in tapestry technique are among the most elegant and luxurious antique floor coverings.

Hand-Knoted Savonnerie
The Savonnerie manufactory was the most prestigious European manufactory of knotted-pile carpets, enjoying its greatest period c. 1650–1685; the cachet of its name is casually applied to many knotted-pile carpets made at other centers.

Persian Rugs
A Persian rug is a heavy textile, made for a wide variety of utilitarian and symbolic purpose, produced in Iran, for home use, local sale, and export. Carpet weaving is an essential part of Persian culture and Iranian art. Within the group of Oriental rugs produced by the countries of the so-called "rug belt", the Persian carpet stands out by the variety and elaborateness of its manifold designs.

Needlepoint
A hand made wool needlepoint rug has a flat texture resembling an antique rug in which the pile has worn down. Decorators prefer needlepoint rugs to new oriental rugs when they are decorating with antique furniture.

Hand-Tufted Savonnerie
Hand-tufted Savonnerie uses the same patterns and design as a hand-knoted Savonnerie. Expert technicians of hand-knoted Savonnerie developed a new type of Savonnerie. It is developed to adapt to high demand and fast paced orders. Hand-tufted Savonnerie looks and feels like hand-knoted Savonnerie, but it is made faster and cheaper than an ordinary Savonnerie.

High-Low Rugs
The High-Low rugs are all inspired by urban landscapes, creating high and low piles of area rugs that give them a unique characteristic. It's not the size of the knot, it's the texture of the knot that speaks to the room.

Silk Rugs
Silk Rugs use the silk harvested from cocoons of silkworms. It adds highlights to any design when displayed with adequate lighting. Silk rugs are often woven with wool for added structure integrity, making the the rug last much longer in various different environments.
